VP, Senior Data Engineering Manager (L14)

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of IT experience, or at least 14 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of data engineering experience leveraging public cloud capabilities.
• At least 7 years of experience in a large, complex organization.
• At least 9 years of experience leading enterprise-scale data engineering delivery.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business, technology, risk, and executive stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience building consumer-focused data pipelines and products with ownership, documentation, data contracts, quality controls, and support for varied use cases.
• Experience with cloud transformation and data application migration using AWS public cloud services.
• Familiarity with AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, Kafka, Hadoop, Oracle, AbInitio, Spark, Python, SageMaker Studio, and SAS is preferred.
• Experience leading complex technology programs and functional teams.
• Knowledge of agile development, testing practices, engineering lifecycle, and delivery execution.
• Experience in financial services, banking, credit, payments, or another highly regulated industry is preferred.

Work Timings

• The role requires flexibility for an overlap between Eastern Time and India Standard Time.
• The required meeting window is 06:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Time, with remaining hours flexible subject to business needs.
