Position Overview
Surya is seeking a creative Visual Merchandising Intern with a passion for home decor and design. The Visual Merchandising Intern will collaborate with a talented team focused on creating visual concepts that promote the Surya Inc. brands and products in showrooms, catalogs and online. Responsibilities of the Visual Merchandising Intern
- Assist with visual merchandising of showrooms to deliver optimal presentation of products and standout guest experience
- Support showroom setup process, including assisting with cross-department project management
- Coordinate, track and manage samples and product shipments for tradeshows and photo shoots
- Assist with product selection, ordering, and styling for photo shoots
- Provide administrative support related to tradeshows, events, and special projects
- Build knowledge of visual merchandising strategies, brand standards and current design trends
