About Us

Subko is committed to an ideal: to help reimagine, re-design. and re-invent an unlikely

craft baking and pod-to-bar chocolate making movements.

Subko’s facilities: all of the coffee, bakehouse and cacao products are crafted from

scratch, in house.

From crop to cup, pod to bar, and farm to table.

detailed, high quality coffee, bake and chocolate experience to all our guests.

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled and creative

Editor

who can independently plan, shoot, and edit high-quality, brand-aligned video

content.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in camera work, lighting,

composition, and post-production, along with the ability to collaborate with marketing

and creative teams to deliver content across platforms such as Instagram Reels,

YouTube, and Stories.

The ideal candidate has strong storytelling instincts, a good visual eye, and the ability to

execute quickly in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Cinematography & Camera Work

  • Plan and execute video shoots with strong attention to lighting, composition,
  • camera movement, and framing.
  • Operate cameras, lights, stabilizers, and relevant production gear during shoots.
  • Collaborate with creative and cross-functional teams to develop mood boards,
  • shot lists, and visual treatments.
  • Scout locations and manage on-set logistics including lighting setups, gear
  • checks, and basic audio capture when required.

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit raw footage into polished, brand-consistent videos with clear narrative flow.
  • Perform color correction/grading, sound cleanup, transitions, and basic motion
  • graphics.
  • Export and optimize videos for multiple formats (Reels, YouTube, Stories,
  • short-form and long-form).
  • Maintain consistency in pacing, tone, and overall quality across all deliverables.

Pre-Production Support

  • Support scripting and storyboarding when required.
  • Provide creative input on production feasibility and visual structure.
  • Assist in estimating timelines, shoot schedules, and resource needs.

Asset & File Management

  • Organize raw footage, edits, and final exports in a structured and accessible
  • system.
  • Ensure backups are taken regularly and version control is maintained across
  • edits.
  • Maintain proper labeling and archiving of assets for future reuse.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, social media, and product teams to understand
  • content needs.
  • Adapt content based on internal feedback and performance insights.
  • Deliver content within timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Tech & Creative Innovation

  • Stay updated on trends in cinematography, editing styles, and video formats.
  • Recommend tools, plug-ins, workflows, and equipment upgrades to improve
  • output quality.
  • Experiment with creative formats such as stop motion, transitions, and mixed
  • media where relevant.

Required Skills

  • 3 - 5 years of proven experience in video production and editing, with ability to
  • handle end-to-end execution.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, cinema
  • cameras
  • ) and accessories (stabilizers, tripods, lights, etc.).
  • Strong editing expertise in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci

Resolve, or Final Cut Pro

  • .
  • Working understanding of lighting, framing, composition, camera movement,
  • and shot design.
  • Good knowledge of color correction/grading, LUTs, audio cleanup, and
  • sound design basics

  • Ability to export videos optimized for multiple platforms (Instagram Reels,
  • YouTube, Stories, etc.
  • ).
  • Strong storytelling skills with a good sense of pacing, narrative flow, and brand
  • tone

  • Familiarity with After Effects / motion design is a strong plus.
  • Strong file management discipline: footage organization, backups, and
  • version control

  • Ability to collaborate closely with marketing/social/product teams and work in a
  • fast-paced environment.
  • Awareness of current video trends and willingness to experiment with formats like
  • stop motion, mixed media, transitions
