The role combines software development, large-scale data analytics, algorithm design, scalable deployment, and client collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Work across the full analytics value chain, from framing business challenges through designing algorithms, implementing solutions, and enabling adoption.
- Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software.
- Participate in every part of the software development lifecycle.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development practices.
- Optimize the computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs.
- Interact directly with clients on new features for future product releases.
- Collaborate with teams to share software design and solution ideas.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities and papers.
- Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university master's or PhD degree program in computer science, data science, statistics, operations research, or a related field.
- The role requires Python programming.
