The Floor Supervisor position is a temporary seasonal position that is primarily mobile in nature. A Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the VIP area servers, bussers, baristas, and station attendants in setup, food & beverage service, cleanliness, and breakdown. Work shifts will take place at the Desert International Horse park.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Floor Managers, DOO, COO, Owner
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
- Supervises all general VIP area front of house staff in all setup, such as setting guest tables, setting and replenishing all food and beverage stations, preparing hot and cold beverages, organizing scullery areas and service stations, etc.
- Supervises servers and ensures excellence in all aspects of guest service, including tray passing food, bussing, tray passing beverages, table-side beverage service, and servicing VIP guests and clients.
- Directs service and ensures proper service etiquette
- Reports to upper DIHP management on any FOH employees that need coaching or performance coaching
- Empties event trash cans and slosh buckets
- Performs service meeting for all servers, including required safety briefing
- Ensures all servers adhere to dress code
- Ensures facility is prepared and open for daily service
- Ensures facility is closed and cleaned properly at end of daily service
