Role Description
The Video Editor edits and produces engaging content for social media, marketing, advertising, corporate communications, and digital platforms.
The role transforms raw footage into high-quality videos that meet creative and brand requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, cut, arrange, and organize footage into polished videos according to project requirements and creative briefs.
- Add transitions, music, sound effects, subtitles, graphics, and visual effects.
- Perform basic color correction, audio editing, and visual enhancement.
- Create videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, marketing teams, and content creators.
- Review videos, apply feedback, maintain media assets, and export files in suitable formats.
- Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay current with editing trends and social-media formats.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in video editing or digital content production.
- A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Multimedia, Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of video editing, audio, color correction, transitions, and visual effects.
