Role Description
The Network Engineer designs, implements, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots network infrastructure.
The role supports reliable and secure connectivity across servers, devices, systems, offices, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure, connectivity, and related services.
- Install and manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, VPNs, and other network devices.
- Monitor performance, availability, traffic, capacity, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, software, outages, and service disruptions.
- Implement security controls and access policies, and perform testing, backups, reviews, and improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers.
- Support cloud networking, remote access, and infrastructure projects while following company security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- Previous experience in network engineering, network administration, or IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba, or similar technologies.
