About the Role

Comma Media is looking for a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer to join its creative team.

The role produces engaging content for social media, advertising campaigns, brands, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, advertisements, and commercial projects.
  • Create edits from raw footage using creative briefs and brand guidelines.
  • Create motion graphics, animations, transitions, titles, text animations, and visual effects.
  • Edit promotional videos, reels, corporate videos, and advertising campaigns.
  • Perform color correction and basic color grading.
  • Edit audio, music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
  • Create platform-specific video formats and aspect ratios.
  • Collaborate with creative, content, account management, and photography teams.
  • Organize project files, meet deadlines, make revisions, and follow production workflows.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of motion graphics and animation.
  • Knowledge of video composition, pacing, storytelling, and visual hierarchy.
  • Knowledge of color correction, color grading, audio editing, and sound design.
  • Ability to work with different video formats and codecs.
  • Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and paid advertisements.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and After Effects work.
  • Experience in commercial, social media, advertising, or agency environments is preferred.
  • Experience with cinematic content and branded videos is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
  • Experience with 3D motion graphics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI-powered video and creative tools is a plus.
  • Basic photography and cinematography knowledge is an advantage.
  • Arabic and English proficiency is preferred.

Working Style

The role requires creativity, attention to detail, independent and team-based work, and the ability to handle multiple projects.

The candidate should be able to turn concepts into polished final products while working efficiently under pressure.

  • The work location is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
