A Motion Graphic Designer & Video Editor combines raw footage, animations, and sound to create engaging visual content for digital, social, and marketing platforms.
They are responsible for the full post-production pipeline, including editing, color grading, motion graphics, and typography, often working within Adobe Creative Suite to deliver high-quality, branded videos:
Core Responsibilities
- **Video Editing:** Assemble raw footage into high-quality stories, including selecting, assembling, color grading, and audio syncing.
- **Motion Graphics & Animation:** Create engaging, high-quality motion graphics, animated text, and visual effects to enhance videos.
- **Asset Creation:** Develop social media content (Reels, TikToks), marketing materials, and branding assets, including titles and lower thirds.
- **Content Storytelling:** Work with creative teams to conceptualize, storyboard, and produce video content that aligns with brand guidelines.
- **Project Management:** Manage multiple design projects, from ideation to final render, while meeting tight deadlines.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- **Software Proficiency:** Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator/Photoshop, Capcut, Davinci.
- **Experience:** 2–3+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics, particularly for social media and marketing.
- **Creative Flair:** Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in animation, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
- **Technical Knowledge:** Understanding of video compression, file formats, frame rates, and export settings for different platforms.
- **Technical Skills:** Sound design and basic audio editing skills
Common Qualifications
- A portfolio or reel of previous work is usually mandatory.
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related fields.
- Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
