About The Role

A leading digital media and consumer technology organisation is seeking an experienced Vice President of Technology & Analytics to lead the next phase of its technology, data, and digital transformation journey

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this executive leadership role will be responsible for defining and executing the technology, engineering, analytics, and data strategy that supports business growth, innovation, customer engagement, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a large-scale digital platform serving millions of consumers across the region

Technology Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute a long-term technology vision aligned with corporate objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Lead all aspects of technology delivery, including software engineering, architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, platform operations, and reliability.
  • Drive large-scale technology transformation programmes, ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient platforms.
  • Champion best practices across engineering, infrastructure management, automation, governance, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee cloud strategy, optimisation initiatives, and modernisation programmes

Data, Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Develop and implement the organisation's data and analytics strategy.
  • Establish robust data governance frameworks and scalable data platforms.
  • Drive the adoption of data-led decision making across commercial, product, marketing, customer experience, and operational functions.
  • Lead business intelligence, customer insights, predictive analytics, and reporting capabilities.
  • Utilise data to enhance customer acquisition, retention, engagement, monetisation, and product performance

Digital Platforms & Customer Experience

  • Partner with Product, Commercial, Marketing, and Content teams to optimise digital experiences and customer journeys.
  • Drive innovation across customer engagement platforms, personalisation capabilities, and marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Ensure the ongoing performance, availability, and evolution of digital products and services.
  • Support the delivery of best-in-class customer experiences through technology and data innovation

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across engineering, data, analytics, security, and technology operations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology investment, digital transformation, and future growth opportunities.
  • Manage technology budgets, vendor partnerships, procurement, and third-party relationships.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a commercially minded technology leader with extensive experience operating within complex digital and consumer-facing environments.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Significant senior leadership experience within digital platforms, OTT services, streaming, media technology, subscription businesses, telecommunications, or large-scale consumer technology environments.
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-wide technology transformation and cloud modernisation programmes.
  • Deep expertise across software engineering, platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data platforms, analytics, and customer technology ecosystems.
  • Strong experience building and managing multidisciplinary teams across technology and data functions.
  • Demonstrated success aligning technology strategy with commercial objectives and customer outcomes.
  • Experience influencing executive leadership teams, boards, and senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
