Responsibilities
- Develop and execute vendor management strategies aligned with organizational objectives, procurement policies, and operational requirements
- Manage the end to end vendor lifecycle, including vendor onboarding, qualification, performance management, contract administration, renewal, and offboarding
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, service providers, technology partners, and third party suppliers
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, finance, legal, operations, technology, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to align vendor capabilities with organizational needs
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, SLAs, performance expectations, and contract renewals to maximize value and minimize risk
- Monitor KPIs including vendor performance, SLA compliance, delivery quality, cost savings, contract compliance, supplier risk, issue resolution, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Conduct vendor performance reviews, business reviews, audits, and compliance assessments while identifying opportunities for service improvement and cost optimization
- Identify, assess, and mitigate vendor related risks including operational, financial, cybersecurity, regulatory, and business continuity risks
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procurement procedures, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and governance standards
- Evaluate new suppliers, emerging technologies, and sourcing opportunities to strengthen the vendor portfolio
- Prepare vendor performance dashboards, risk assessments, cost analyses, executive reports, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop vendor management specialists, supplier relationship managers, and procurement support teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Operations Management, Law, or related field preferred
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPP, ITIL, PMP or equivalent advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, supplier relationship management, procurement, contract management, sourcing, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing vendor programs, supplier performance, or cross functional commercial initiatives preferred
- Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle management, contract negotiation, supplier performance management, procurement practices, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with ERP systems, procurement platforms, CLM systems, supplier management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and business analytics platforms
- Familiarity with third party risk management, cybersecurity vendor assessments, financial analysis, and strategic sourcing methodologies advantageous
- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, strategic thinking, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, conflict resolution, and cross functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop strategic vendor partnerships that optimize performance, reduce risk, control costs, and support long term business objectives
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

The Role
