About the Role
Flowserve seeks a Field Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair valves and actuators at customer sites. Requires technical knowledge of control valves, pneumatic/hydraulic/electric actuators, digital positioners, and pressure testing.

Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and calibrate control valves with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators
- Dismantle, inspect, and assess valve and actuator condition, submitting technical service/repair reports
- Perform re machining of valve trim components and work with third party workshops
- Calibrate valves involving digital positioners, electric actuators, hydraulic actuators, and various accessories
- Troubleshoot valves at site, shop, during commissioning, turnarounds, and plant start ups
- Conduct pressure testing of valves (shell, seat) and operate hydro test machines
- Prepare technical service reports and provide technical recommendations to customers
- Interact with factory engineering teams to resolve and provide technical solutions
- Conduct plant walks and site surveys to collect installed base data and prepare upgrade recommendations
Requirements
- HS Diploma / GED and 3 5 years relevant experience
- Professional certifications in this field
- Ability to work collaboratively with unfamiliar teams

Role Summary
- The Field Service Technician installs, commissions, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs Flowserve’s Valve and other equipment across industries.
- Provides real time technical support to customers and recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment.
- Actively engaged in troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions onsite at nearby customer facilities.
Your Role
- Thorough technical knowledge on assembling, testing, calibration of control valves with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators.
- Dismantling, inspection and service assessment based on valve and actuator condition and submitting technical service/repair reports.
- Basic knowledge on re machining of valve trim components, understanding engineering drawings, working with third party workshops.
- Thorough knowledge on valve calibration involving digital positioners, electric actuators, hydraulic actuators, various valve accessories.
- Pressure testing of various types of valves (shell, seat), knowledge on hydro test machines operation, basic knowledge on international standards.
- Preparing technical service reports after valves/actuators servicing, troubleshooting, and providing reliable technical recommendations.
- Interact with factory engineering teams in resolving and providing reliable technical solutions to customers.
- Conduct plant walks, site surveys for collecting installed base data, prepare site survey reports with recommendations.
