UX Director

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of UX or product design experience as a strong, opinionated design leader who drives change.
• Proven track record setting and executing design strategy at the organizational level, including hiring and developing senior design talent.
• B2B SaaS background, not primarily consumer. Enterprise buying cycles and deep user research demand a different approach than B2C.
• Real, hands-on fluency in AI-augmented design workflows, backed by specifics: what tools, what process, what you actually built. General AI tool use alone isn't enough.
• A demonstrated personal drive to stay current on AI-enabled design, through training, cohorts, or peer networks, even without a full prior rollout to point to.
• A clear point of view on resolving design/PM overlap in an AI-builder workflow, rooted in shared ownership, not territory.
• Proven experience building and governing design systems as cross-team infrastructure.
• Strong command of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity or a closely adjacent regulated/enterprise-trust space.
• Experience scaling a design org through a growth stage or product expansion.
• Experience formalizing agile, pod-based design operating models.
• History building design leadership pipelines.
• Comfort engaging directly with customers, including live, collaborative sessions.

• The estimated total compensation range for this position is $320,000 - $365,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
