Your Opportunity
The Undergraduate Assistant provides administrative support for programs and courses in Anthropology and Sociology.
The role supports faculty and students with hiring processes and CUPE 3902 collective agreements for teaching assistants, instructors, lecturers, and invigilators.
The position coordinates administrative activities and provides service to a diverse academic community.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment and training for teaching assistants, exam invigilators, course instructors, sessional lecturers, and stipend instructors.
- Proofread and post recruitment advertisements using hiring software.
- Interpret guidelines to determine graduate student eligibility for teaching assistantships.
- Prepare draft employment letters from hiring software templates.
- Collect supporting documentation for payroll and HRIS processing.
