The application is under active development and contains many existing features and user journeys.
About the Role
The role is a focused one-month contract to redesign key areas of a complex mobile application and establish its visual and interaction direction.
The goal is an implementation-ready, reusable UI/UX foundation in Figma while generally preserving existing functionality unless approved workflow changes improve the user experience.
The designer will work with complex products involving multiple user roles, workflows, scalable systems, backend constraints, and product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end flows, mobile-first experiences, information architecture, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and interaction flows in Figma.
- Translate backend logic and system constraints into intuitive experiences and create scalable design systems.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers and ensure consistency across platforms, roles, and user journeys.
- Balance premium branding with usability and performance and iterate based on feedback and technical feasibility.
Must Have
- Strong expertise in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variants, and design systems.
- Experience designing mobile applications, complex workflows, and user journeys.
- Proven experience building and maintaining design systems.
- Strong information architecture, UX structuring, usability, and UX principles knowledge.
- Experience working closely with developers and technical teams.
- A bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of professional UI/UX design experience, and English proficiency are required.
Strong Plus
- Experience designing marketplace platforms, social feeds, loyalty and rewards systems, fintech or payment flows, role-based UX, hybrid B2B and B2C platforms, or Flutter products is a plus.
- Experience designing animations and micro-interactions is a plus.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,500 per month.
