About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform Maintenance Test Flights (MTF), Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC), and in flight troubleshooting and verifications of aircraft to ensure airworthiness
- Conduct aircraft general and pre flight readiness inspections
- Start, run up, fly, navigate and safely land aircraft IAW applicable aircraft operators manual
- Complete all required aircraft maintenance forms, records, and aircraft logbooks entries
- Perform mathematical calculations, performance data, and landing configurations of the type series
- Conduct briefings to flight crew members and maintenance personnel in support of MTP aircraft operations
- Ensure maintenance test flight functional activities and procedures are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve platform operational readiness rates
- Establish daily maintenance test flight organizational goals with production control
- Work within maintenance quality control processes and coordinate with Supply Chain Management activities
- Coordinate activities and requirements for maintenance test flight operations support with Base Operations Manager
- Support Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures
- Report to Battalion Production Control Manager
Requirements
- Two years' experience as a Maintenance Test Pilot in UH60 series aircraft
- Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Helicopter; Instrument Helicopter license
- Meets requirements of AR 95 20
- Successfully pass the Army or FAA Class II Flight Physical upon hire, and annually thereafter
- USG maintenance test pilot qualified in the UH 60M helicopter
- Proficient in computer hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation
- Possess a valid U.S driver's license and Passport
- DD214 required for military experience
- Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements including medical, drug testing, background checks
- Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- FAA A&P Certificate preferred
- FAA IA Certificate preferred

Overview

- V2X has an opening for an Aviation Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP).
- Responsible for performing Maintenance Test Flights (MTF), Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC), and conducting in flight troubleshooting and verifications of aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that maintenance test flight functional activities and procedures are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness rates IAW contractual requirements.
- Responsible for the establishment of maintenance flight processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform readiness rates.
- Establishes daily maintenance test flight organizational goals with production control, objectives and priorities for implementation in order to achieve stated readiness rates.
- Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards, measures, and reports IAW the quality control inspection program for all maintenance and in coordination with Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities.
- Directs inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance test flights and supporting maintenance activities, to the Aviation Maintenance Technician, Production Control manager.
- Attends a daily maintenance meeting for coordination and synchronization of maintenance activities requiring MTP support.
- Coordinates activities and requirements for maintenance test flight operations support with the Base Operations Manager.
- Ensure all maintenance test flight operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.
- In coordination with the Aviation Manager, supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.
- Other tasks as directed by the PC Manager.
- Reports to the Battalion Production Control Manger.
- Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- FAA A&P Certificate preferred.
- FAA IA certificate preferred.
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- As a condition of employment in Saudi Arabia, all candidates must successfully complete the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qualification Verification Program (QVP).
- Two (2) years’ experience as a Maintenance Test pilot in UH60 series aircraft.
