Overview
- Safely transport containerized cargo to and from ports, warehouses, and distribution centers, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and container, meticulously documenting any mechanical issues or damage.
- Secure cargo properly within the container, ensuring it is stable and protected from shifting during transit, using appropriate equipment like chains and straps.
- Operate electronic logging devices (ELDs) accurately to maintain compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, tracking driving time and rest periods.
