Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of structural components, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform non destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle testing (MPT) to identify internal and surface defects.
- Verify material certifications and traceability for all structural elements, including steel, concrete, and welding consumables.
- Witness and document welding procedures and welder qualifications, ensuring adherence to approved methods.
- Inspect and verify dimensions, alignment, and surface preparation of structural members prior to painting or coating.
- Monitor concrete pouring and curing processes, checking slump, temperature, and formwork integrity.
