Assists in maintaining computer labs, helping students with coursework, and providing a clean, comfortable and safe learning environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Supervision Received : Supervised by Client Support Services Manager.
Day-to-Day activities are coordinated by Network Administrators and Lab Tutors.
Supervision Exercised: None
Essential Functions: Assist students to log on to computers.
Assist students with computer programs necessary to complete homework.
Assist staff with computer maintenance by notifying them of hardware and software issues.
Cleaning desktops, keyboards, mice, floors, whiteboards, etc. on a daily basis to maintain an orderly computer lab for students.
Specific Duties: Monitoring labs for students needing assistance Assisting students and staff with logging onto computers Maintaining printers: Adding paper and changing cartridges as needed.
Assisting students with course work as needed.
Monitoring labs for food and drink.
Helping staff as needed, answering phones.
Preparing labs for regular classes and special events.
Various other duties assigned by tutors or Admins.

Education : Must be a currently enrolled RCC student in 6 credits or more and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Must have successfully completed CS120/CIS120 or BA131 or above.
Proficient with computers.
