As a Transportation Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing project management, design and analytical civil engineering expertise for a wide range of Transportation and other civil infrastructure projects.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage and design projects in compliance with applicable processes, codes and standards, while meeting customer specifications.
This will require your ability to produce, review, or manage the production of design and construction documents for projects, from conceptualization to final construction.
You will be an integral part of feasibility studies, designs, and reports, and you will be responsible for preparing, implementing, and assessing contract documents.
In addition, you will lead design teams throughout all phases of the project, from bidding to completion, utilizing your leadership skills and technical knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
Under general supervision of a Team Leader, a Transportation Project Manager is responsible for project management and engineering design tasks, including detailed calculations, plan preparation and review, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, technical specification writing, inspections, CAD and other tasks as may be required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited four-year college or university.
Hold a Professional Engineering License in the State of Missouri, or obtain one within six months of employment.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.
However, most work weeks will be 40 or more hours.
Hours are somewhat flexible and some late evenings and/or weekends may be required.
TRAVEL There may be occasional overnight travel for this position.
Some local day travel may also be required.
