The T&I Manager will lead transportation and installation engineering and execution activities across major offshore projects in Qatar.
The role provides leadership, governance, and technical direction for safe and efficient offshore transportation, installation, and construction operations.
Contract and Work Schedule
- The position is a long-term contract.
- The work location is onshore while supporting offshore projects.
- The rotation is 12 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
- The schedule is six days per week, with 8–10 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead T&I engineering and execution activities across multiple offshore projects.
- Implement T&I processes and best practices for marine operations, assurance, load-out, sea fastening, transportation, installation, and offshore construction.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering, construction, quality, HSE, business, and project teams.
- Review and validate EPC contractor procedures, plans, methodologies, and installation strategies.
- Monitor T&I performance, progress, KPIs, risks, and lessons learned.
- Oversee heavy lifts, transportation campaigns, pipeline installation, cable installation, and marine activities.
- Coordinate integrated execution plans and project interfaces.
- Support T&I resource planning, deployment, and optimization.
- Lead T&I safety culture and manage transportation and installation risks.
- Support MOC processes and stakeholder alignment across Operations, Marine, Logistics, contractors, and shareholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
- 15 or more years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years of T&I project management experience.
- Experience with offshore heavy lift campaigns, load-out, marine transportation, offshore installation, pipeline installation, and subsea cable installation.
- Experience in senior leadership, supervision, international offshore contracting, and large-scale offshore EPC projects.
- Float-over installation experience is preferred.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of T&I engineering, offshore heavy lifting, load-out operations, marine operations assurance, and marine warranty survey requirements.
- Knowledge of sea fastening, offshore construction, pipeline installation, cable installation, risk management, MOC, offshore logistics, and offshore safety management.
Additional Requirements
- Offshore survival certification is required.
- Candidates must be able to pass offshore medical requirements.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities are required.
