Chief Accountant

Shawarma & Sauce Company – Mecca announces the availability of a position: Chief Accountant – Restaurant Sector.

• Experience in the Restaurant Sector: Direct experience of at least 7 years in the restaurant or QSR/F&B sector (critical experience to understand the operation of centralized kitchens, outlets, and branches).
• Proficiency in Foodics System: Advanced experience in dealing with Foodics POS system and extracting its financial and inventory reports, and linking it with ERP systems.
• Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related financial specialization.

• Leading the Financial Team: Directing and monitoring the accounting team (branch accountants, costs, and purchases) and ensuring the accuracy of the ongoing cycle and daily entries.
• Closures and Financial Statements: Supervising monthly and annual closures, preparing financial statements and final reports, and managing tax files (ZATCA) and zakat.
• Compliance with Foodics Sales: Monitoring and auditing compliance with daily sales of Foodics with cash, sales points (network), and application accounts.
• Reconciliation of Communication Application Accounts: Reviewing and approving financial reconciliations and compliance with communication platforms and ensuring the accuracy of transactions and theoretical and actual collections.
• Monitoring Costs and Waste: Reviewing food cost reports and variances (Theoretical vs Actual) submitted by the team, and monitoring periodic waste results for branches and warehouses to address waste management.
• Financial Analysis and Decision Support: Analyzing profitability of the menu and branches and communication applications, and providing periodic reports to senior management to support pricing decisions and expense control.
