  • Experience with meso- or microscopic traffic simulation tools such as Aimsun, VISSIM, Viswalk, DYNAMEQ, Synchro, Sidra, or HCS.
  • Experience with GIS, statistical model estimation and calibration, and machine learning models.
  • Experience with front-end data visualization using HTML, CSS, and common web libraries or frameworks.

Additional microsimulation qualifications

Post-secondary education in civil engineering or transportation engineering from an accredited university.

Experience in traffic engineering, travel demand forecasting, traffic operations analysis, and safety analysis.

Ability to prepare and present complex technical reports, research, and analysis.

Programming with VBA, Python, C#, or similar tools would be an asset.

Work environment

  • The team offers a collaborative environment, flexible work arrangements, career growth opportunities, and a competitive benefits package.
