Role overview

Location and working conditions

• The role is based in Richmond, British Columbia.
• Work a standard 40-hour Monday-to-Friday schedule with occasional on-call duties.
• Flexibility may be required for shifts, extended hours and weekend work.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and spend a significant portion of each day on your feet.

Core responsibilities

• Receive and verify containerized and bulk hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Complete waste documentation, scale tickets, manifests, bills of lading and inspection reports.
• Package, classify, document, store, consolidate and repack waste streams.
• Perform field-level waste identification tests and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
• Update waste tracking systems and coordinate with Project Coordinators and the Billing team.
• Perform inspections, equipment maintenance, repairs and general labour duties.
• Participate in safety meetings, Hazard Identifications, Hazard Hunts, inspections and non-conformance reporting.
• Follow occupational health and safety procedures and support a safe work environment.
