You will also provide day-to-day administrative support, including maintaining asset records, preparing reports, tracking fuel and maintenance costs, processing documentation and invoices, and supporting the broader Mobile Asset Management team.
This role is based in Red Deer, Alberta.
You will join a hands-on Mobile Asset Management team that supports the effective administration, tracking and coordination of equipment and vehicles across SECURE. The team works collaboratively with departments throughout the organization to maintain accurate information and support day-to-day operational needs.
This is a collaborative office-based role that requires accuracy, organization and regular communication with internal teams. The position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in asset administration, data management, reporting and business operations.
Verify, maintain and update mobile asset lists and records.
Compare asset information across departments and tracking systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Support the annual review and verification of mobile assets.
Build and maintain spreadsheets for tracking, reporting and data analysis.
Track fuel usage and compile maintenance cost reports.
Create, review and distribute documentation.
Review and code invoices as required.
Provide administrative support for the Mobile Asset Management team.
Assist with the team’s day-to-day activities and operational requirements.
Support additional projects, assignments and reporting requirements as needed.
Verify and maintain asset lists across departments.
Ensure mobile asset information is accurately reflected in relevant documentation and tracking systems.
Assist with the annual mobile asset location and information review.
Support the team with day-to-day administrative functions and deliverables.
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work with spreadsheets, data and tracking information.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A general understanding of equipment and vehicles is considered an asset.
