Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assist with income tax returns, tax audits, and transfer pricing Form 3CEB filings.
• Manage transfer pricing compliance, including BEPS master file and country-by-country requirements.
• Prepare documentation for intra-group transactions in compliance with local regulations.
• Support audits, assessment notices, appeals, submissions, and hearings before tax authorities.
• Advise the business on transfer pricing implications, tax treaties, and the Multilateral Instrument.
• Review transfer pricing policies against regulatory and legal developments.
• Coordinate with internal functions, business teams, counsel, auditors, consultants, and tax authorities.
• Manage post-assessment orders, stays of demand, refunds, and rectification activities.
• Maintain knowledge of legal and tribunal developments and support automation or digitalization projects.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 to 7 years of transfer pricing experience.
• Knowledge of the Income Tax Act, DTAA, FEMA, and recent case law.
