A key focus of the role will be supporting the coordination and administration of SECURE’s 2027 Certificate of Recognition (COR) maintenance audit , as well as partnering with the Training & Competency team to refresh SECURE’s online learning catalogue. You will help ensure training materials reflect current SECURE branding, terminology, and standards while providing employees with a consistent and professional learning experience.
This role is based out of our Brookfield Office in downtown Calgary, Alberta .
You will work as part of SECURE’s Training & Competency and Management Systems team , collaborating with team members and stakeholders across the organization.
This is a full-time student position based in our Brookfield office in downtown Calgary, working Monday to Friday. You'll work in a collaborative business environment supporting training, competency, assurance, and management systems initiatives across SECURE. The role involves coordinating audit activities, managing documentation, updating learning content, tracking project milestones, and working with stakeholders across multiple departments. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in project coordination, training administration, continuous improvement, and management systems while developing strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Support the coordination and administration of SECURE’s 2027 COR maintenance audit.
Collect, organize, and maintain documentation and records required to support audit activities.
Coordinate audit schedules, interviews, meetings, and other logistical requirements.
Maintain and update the COR audit document and information request tracker.
Track outstanding information requests and follow up with appropriate stakeholders.
Support COR audit preparation and execution to help ensure key requirements and timelines are achieved.
Support the review and refresh of SECURE’s online training catalogue.
Review existing online training modules and identify outdated formatting, templates, audio recordings, terminology, and references.
Transfer existing training content into current SECURE-branded templates.
Review and update training scripts to reflect current SECURE terminology and language.
Use AI-supported tools to convert approved scripts into audio to help create a consistent voice-over experience across training modules.
Conduct quality reviews of updated modules to ensure consistency in branding, messaging, formatting, terminology, and audio.
Identify opportunities to improve the consistency and overall employee experience of online training materials.
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities, deadlines, and information requests.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify inconsistencies across documentation and learning materials.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to follow up and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Comfortable learning and working with new technologies, including online learning platforms and AI-supported tools.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Strong judgment and professionalism when working with business documentation and information.
A proactive and curious approach, with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to continuous improvement.
