Reporting to the Senior Manager, Training & Development, the Training & Development Lead is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and evaluating training content, resources, and digital learning assets that support business priorities, advisor experience, and operational effectiveness.
This role supports the Training & Development team by leading content-related projects, improving development processes, supporting change initiatives, and ensuring resources align with approved workflows, regulatory requirements, accessibility expectations, and departmental standards. As a working lead with supervisory responsibility for one or more direct reports, the Training & Development Lead balances hands-on content development and project delivery with coaching, prioritization support, day-to-day oversight, performance input, and capability development to support consistent delivery of high-quality training solutions.

2+ years of experience in content development in the finance sector, or other regulatory environment.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering training on various subjects.
Experience in instructional design and development, including blended learning solutions, digital content creation, and rapid development methodologies, is considered an asset.
Experience in design and development of written training materials, manuals, guidebooks, job aids, etc.
Proficiency with the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
Experience using online meeting platforms such as Teams and Learning Management Systems.
A high level of accountability, adaptability, and innovation in achieving both day-to-day responsibilities and long-term goals.
A demonstrated, reliable work ethic with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
An ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and work requirements.
A customer-focused attitude, with a commitment to providing extraordinary service to high-net-worth clients.
Exemplary interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills across multiple mediums (in-person, phone, virtual).

A high level of confidentiality.
Experience acting as a working lead or supervisor, including balancing hands-on project delivery with coaching, prioritization support, performance input, and day-to-day guidance for one or more direct reports.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
