Trainee Laboratory Technician

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will learn how to conduct laboratory testing and analysis on construction materials used in major infrastructure projects.

• Assisting with laboratory testing and analysis of construction materials • Preparing and testing asphalt, aggregates and other road-building materials • Recording and reporting test results accurately • Participating in toolbox talks, safety initiatives and team activities • Gaining practical, on-the-job experience in a laboratory environment • Supporting laboratory operations across a variety of sites and projects • Maintaining a safe and organised workplace

What You'll Bring

• Current Driver's Licence • Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain) • A genuine interest in laboratory work and a commitment to completing a 3-year traineeship • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Ability to work effectively within a team environment • Commitment to safety and Downer's Zero Harm culture
