Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify traffic diversion setups on site as per approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- Monitor live traffic conditions and recommend corrective actions to ensure smooth flow and safety
- Ensure proper installation and maintenance of signage, barriers, cones, delineators, and lighting
- Conduct site assessments to identify risks and provide solutions for safe vehicle and pedestrian movement
- Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and government authorities on diversion arrangements
- Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards
- Report non conformities and follow up on rectifications
- Prepare daily site inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of hands on site experience in traffic inspection or traffic diversions in road construction projects
- Strong knowledge of traffic control devices, road safety procedures, and diversion execution
- Experience working with live traffic environments and fast paced construction sites
- Ability to interpret and enforce Traffic Management Plans
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Familiarity with Saudi traffic regulations and standards
