Komatsu is looking for a Trades Assistant to join our team at Batchfire Callide Mine. This is a varied role rotating between our Maintenance Team and Warehouse Operations, giving you exposure to both heavy equipment maintenance and the parts operation that keeps the fleet moving.
You’ll work alongside experienced Komatsu tradespeople, supporting servicing, shutdowns and breakdowns across excavators, trucks and graders, while also helping receive, dispatch and manage critical parts and consumables.
What You’ll Be Doing
Getting hands-on alongside our maintenance team with day-to-day activities.
Assisting with truck, excavator and grader servicing, shutdowns and breakdowns.
Operating light vehicles, service trucks, wash bays and ancillary equipment.
Receiving, dispatching and safely storing parts and consumables.
Supporting stocktakes and ensuring parts are where they need to be, when they need to be there.
Helping maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.
Working closely with trades, supervisors, warehouse teams and site personnel.
Contributing to a positive crew culture where safety and teamwork come first.
