The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Service Department at our Emerald branch .
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient, profitable and customer-focused operation of the Service Department. You will lead a team of service professionals, drive business growth and profitability, and ensure we continue to deliver genuine product support to our customers.
Safety will be a key focus of the role, with responsibility for monitoring HSE compliance, Komatsu’s Golden Rules, 5S and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
You will also play an important role in developing our people, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring service targets, financial performance and operational requirements are achieved.

What we are looking for
Experience within the heavy equipment maintenance industry
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead, coach and develop a service team
A strong customer focus and commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Commercial and sales focus, with the ability to identify opportunities to grow the Service Department
Experience managing service operations, productivity, WIP, forecasting and financial performance
Understanding of financial reports, including revenue, cost of sales and margin optimisation
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to analyse operational and workplace risks and implement effective solutions
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and provide constructive solutions
A commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
Relevant qualifications, certifications or study that support the capability required for the role
