The Timekeeper manages and monitors attendance, working hours, overtime, and timesheets.
The role covers construction sites, camps, and offices in the MEP and construction industry.
Attendance administration
- Maintain daily attendance records for all employees.
- Monitor biometric attendance and correct-location punching.
- Collect and verify attendance information from site supervisors, foremen, and engineers.
- Record working hours, overtime, night shifts, leave, absences, and holidays.
- Monitor late arrivals, early departures, absenteeism, and irregular attendance.
- Conduct site visits to verify employee presence.
Timesheets and coordination
- Prepare daily and monthly timesheets and submit them to HR on time.
- Coordinate with construction managers and project engineers on extended hours and overtime.
- Maintain attendance registers and supporting documents for audits.
- Report false attendance, overtime misuse, and policy violations.
Compliance
- Protect the confidentiality of attendance and payroll-related information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, site rules, labor regulations, and ISO requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or management.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Timekeeper or Attendance Officer in MEP or construction projects is required.
- Knowledge of biometric attendance systems, timesheets, and overtime records is required.
- Strong Excel, documentation, communication, and coordination skills are required.
- The role requires work across construction sites and coordination with site teams.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,500–AED 2,200 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person across sites, camps, and offices in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
