Responsibilities
- Create original designs for woven, knitted, and printed textiles, including prints, patterns, weaves, and color palettes
- Develop seasonal collections aligned with brand aesthetic, market trends, and customer requirements
- Produce hand drawn and digital designs using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and specialized CAD/textile programs
- Prepare and adjust artwork for production, including repeats, colorways, and separations
- Select yarns, fabrics, dyes, and finishes appropriate to each design and end use
- Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and production teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and manufacturable
- Create technical specifications and design sheets for mills and manufacturers
- Review strike offs, lab dips, and sample fabrics for quality and accuracy
- Research trends, colors, and materials through trade shows, forecasting services, and market analysis
- Maintain an organized design archive and library of samples
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
- Proven experience as a textile/print designer (2+ years preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating print, pattern, and repeat design skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and textile design software
- Solid understanding of textile production methods (printing, weaving, knitting, dyeing)
- Knowledge of color theory, trends, and repeat systems
- Strong hand drawing and rendering skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability

Job Description
- We are seeking a creative and detail oriented Textile Designer to develop original fabric designs, prints, patterns, and surface treatments for our product line.
- The ideal candidate combines strong artistic ability with technical knowledge of textile production and current market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original designs for woven, knitted, and printed textiles, including prints, patterns, weaves, and color palettes.
- Develop seasonal collections aligned with brand aesthetic, market trends, and customer requirements.

- Prepare and adjust artwork for production, including repeats, colorways, and separations.
- Select yarns, fabrics, dyes, and finishes appropriate to each design and end use.
