Overview
- Conduct functional, performance, and safety testing of robotic systems and subsystems.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for electrical and mechanical components.
- Support the design and integration teams by providing feedback from testing activities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electro-mechanical issues in our robotic systems.
- Document test results, anomalies, and corrective actions in a clear and organized manner.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations for testing and safety.
- Assist in the designing, setup and maintenance of test rigs/setups, automated data acquisition systems for various electronics and mechanical systems.
- Participate in field trials and testing of systems when required.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to product quality enhancements
Required Skills
- Testing & Validation: Strong experience in testing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Electrical Systems: Knowledge of wiring, circuit testing, and electrical safety standards.
- Mechanical Systems: Understanding of mechanical assemblies, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Troubleshooting: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and system-level issues.
- Instrumentation: Experience with sensors, data loggers, and test measurement tools.
- Documentation: Skilled in preparing test reports, logs, and technical documentation.
- Safety Standards: Knowledge of industrial safety practices and compliance requirements.
