Testing Engineer

As a Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of our web applications, APIs, enterprise platforms, and AI-powered products.

You'll work across manual testing, API testing, automation testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance validation, collaborating closely with Engineering, AI, Product, and Platform teams.

Rather than focusing only on executing predefined test cases, you'll take ownership of product quality by understanding requirements, identifying risks, designing effective test strategies, automating repetitive validation, and ensuring that releases meet high-quality standards.

You'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle—from requirement analysis and test planning to release validation and production quality monitoring.

Understand product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.

Design comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.

Test complex workflows across web applications and enterprise platforms.

Identify edge cases and potential failure scenarios before production releases.

Validate application behavior across supported browsers, devices, and environments.

Perform end-to-end testing of critical business workflows.

Participate in release validation and production readiness activities.

Develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications and APIs.

Build reusable and maintainable automation frameworks.

Automate regression and repetitive testing workflows.

Work with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.

Analyze automation failures and continuously improve test coverage.

Collaborate with developers to improve application testability.

Maintain reliable automated test suites across development, staging, and production-like environments.

Test REST APIs, microservices, and backend integrations.

Validate request/response structures, status codes, authentication, authorization, and error handling.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar tools.

Validate data consistency between APIs, databases, and application interfaces.

Test integrations between internal and external services.

Validate asynchronous workflows, background processes, and event-driven systems where required.

Perform basic performance, load, and stress testing for critical applications and APIs.

Identify application bottlenecks and reliability issues.

Validate application behavior under different load conditions.

Work with Engineering and Platform teams to investigate performance issues.

Support scalability and production readiness testing.

Contribute to improving overall application stability and reliability.

Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout their lifecycle.

Create clear bug reports with reproducible steps, logs, screenshots, and supporting evidence.

Perform root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineering teams.

Verify fixes and conduct regression testing to prevent recurring issues.

Track quality metrics, defect trends, and test coverage.

Participate in sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and release discussions.

Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

You'll ensure the quality of web applications, REST APIs, enterprise platforms, microservices, AI-powered applications, RAG systems, integrations, and critical end-to-end business workflows.

Your work will directly contribute to delivering reliable, scalable, secure, and high-quality products to our customers.
