But we have flexi time so you can get in as late as 8:30am (Monday to Friday) you just need to work a minimum of 6hrs a day and have a total of 37hrs by the end of the week, which means doing an average of 7.75hr Monday to Friday and then 6 on Friday.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3ETwilight (+25% shift premium):%3C/strong%3E Times are 2pm to Midnight on Monday and Tuesday and 2pm to 11.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday. These times include unpaid lunch and add up to 37 hours per week.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3ENights (+33% shift premium): %3C/strong%3EMonday and Thursday 8.30pm to 9.30pm start, finish 6am- 7am - Tuesday and Wednesday 8pm to 9pm start, finish at 6am -7am. You will %3Cspan class=%22rec-format%22%3Ecarry%3C/span%3E out component-level diagnostics using circuit diagrams and specialised test equipment, supporting both new and existing products across aerospace and defence applications, while maintaining compliance with all quality and manufacturing processes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3ECore duties:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EWorking within an integrated manufacturing team, testing products to set target times and within the project schedule%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECarrying out testing and fault-finding on a variety of new and mature analogue and digital electronics products such as Pilot Displays, Flight %3Cspan class=%22rec-format%22%3EControls%3C/span%3E and Flight Computers%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EFault-finding to component level using appropriate circuit diagrams and test equipment when a failure is identified%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure unit compliance to test specifications and procedures%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EThere may be some migration of this skill into other Technician disciplines such as inspection, fitting and/or wiring/soldering%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EEssential Skills:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EElectronics manufacturing experience%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAbility to read and interpret circuit diagrams%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETesting and fault-finding experience (to component level)%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EIT knowledge is important as our production aids, drawings, routings, and most specifications are delivered electronically via a Manufacturing Execution System%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EThe Test Technician Team:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs part of one of the world’s %3Cspan class=%22rec-format%22%3Eleading%3C/span%3E defence, security and aerospace companies, you will be part of the development and supply of products across a diverse mix of commercial and military platforms, from Head Up and Helmet Mounted Displays on the military aircraft, Safety Critical Pilot %3Cspan class=%22rec-format%22%3EControl%3C/span%3E and Flight %3Cspan class=%22rec-format%22%3EControl%3C/span%3E System for civil airliners and Hybrid Power Systems for public transport vehicles.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EWhy BAE Systems?%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere you’ll build a career with purpose and limitless possibilities.
