What You Will Do
The Test Engineering (TE) Analysis team is an integral part of the overall engine test team. TE Analysis is involved in all phases of an engine test from pre-test planning & preparation, to test coverage & analysis, and test closure. The TE Analysis team works with all Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs ) and test support groups to conduct safe and successful engine & flight tests.
As a Test Engineering Analysis Intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will.....
Provide engineering support for development engine tests and functional validation across the P&W product lines (Commercial, Military, and Industrial), while focusing on engine systems functional understanding, learning and validation through both analytical tools and data acquisition from testing.
Support for test and analysis plans and coordination, instrumentation requirements coordination, pre-test predictions, test procedure development & methods, on-site /remote test coverage, test data management and validation, first pass post-test data analysis and test reporting and documentation for all propulsion systems tests and functional validation.
Active participation in discipline improvement activities and knowledge management.
Work with Test engineers & Test support teams to support engine test campaigns. Off-shift and weekend work may occur to gain test coverage experience.

Qualifications You Must Have
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Science and Technology. Candidates must be actively enrolled in an ABET‐accredited program through the completion of the internship session
Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience demonstrating results focus, teamwork, communication skills, analytical thinking, adaptability, and continuous learning
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
