The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Team:
RTX has an opening for a Facilities, Project Manager (Manager, Facilities) position.
In this role, you will work closely with BU clients, internal stakeholders, and leadership teams to ensure construction project and program goals are clearly defined and successfully met. You will develop and implement action plans to correct any variances, anticipate and address client needs, and lead project management resources across the market. You will ensure consistent understanding and execution of operations, policies, and procedures, and formally direct and oversee both internal and external project management personnel.
What You Will Do
Direct all phases of construction project management including procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closeout phases of the project. Key focus areas include scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management.
Develop new project engagements with BU from project concept through project completion utilizing with a 3-phase approach; Project Initiation, Planning/Funding and Project Execution.
Exhibit a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring corporate governance policies and procedures are adhered to within work group.
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant contract procurement, contract negotiation, contract execution, contract administration, and closeout. Contracts include RTX’s agreements, client/vendor agreements, company/vendor and supplier agreements. Monitors adherence to policies and procedures regarding internal governance and controls.

Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports to the BU client and Facilities Project Delivery team.
Qualifications You Must Have
Minimum 8+ years’ experience managing facilities or real estate development and construction programs/projects to include directing all phases of project management and a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
5+ years’ experience in procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closeout phases of the project.
3+ years’ experience in customer requirements and development of plans to execute work in a functioning manufacturing space.
3+ years’ experience of all construction trades and the ability to estimate project costs.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in developing strategic solutions.
Experience in a supervisory role to include direct report responsibilities
Experience with Microsoft project, AutoCAD, and Procore
PMP certification and a CSL
