The Test Automation Engineer uses quality processes, automation tools, and methodologies to improve testing products and solutions.
The role manages end-to-end quality engineering activities with an emphasis on automation, control, accuracy, and integrity.
Roles and responsibilities
- Perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute solutions to work-related problems.
- Identify automation opportunities and optimize testing workflows with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain and update automated test scripts as project requirements change.
- Assist junior team members by sharing automation knowledge and best practices.
Professional and technical skills
- Proficiency in automated testing is required.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
- Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance principles.
