About the role:Digital Health Branch has a key role in ensuring eHealth Queensland meets its compliance and governance obligations under legislation for the 24/7 operation and maintenance of statewide clinically-critical technology and applications. This includes providing direct application support for frontline users and ensuring ongoing improvements are made to the digital systems, services and infrastructure that underpin clinicalservice delivery.As a Test Analyst, you will support the development and implementation of testing solutions for the delivery for Information Management (IM)/Information Communications Technology (ICT) project(s).Your key responsibilities include:Supports the implementation of quality testing methods to align with the Queensland Health ICT Testing Governance Policy framework which encompasses strategies, policies, processes, templates, tools and standards.Develop or assist in the development of Test Plan(s) and other testing documentation.Peer review of test cases for accuracy, completeness, and traceability to business requirements.Execute testing and help inexperienced testers with test execution.Analyse and log incidents/defects using appropriate defect management tool.Assist with defect rectification, re-testing, and test reporting.Role fit:You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience:Experience in the development of project test strategies, test products and test cases within an IM/ICT program/project(s) environment. (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4)Demonstrated experience in software and/or technical testing methods and tools with experience in the administration of test management software packages. (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4)Experience in specifying and developing test scenarios to ensure user acceptance and records and analyses test results and reports any unexpected or unsatisfactory outcomes. (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4)Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate client business requirements into testable business scenarios and associated test cases.Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
