Territory Sales Representative

• Achieve and exceed assigned sales and bookings targets across the territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Engage directly with customers through regular site visits, meetings, phone conversations, and email communications.
• Understand customer operational challenges and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions.
• Provide technical and commercial support relating to Emerson's isolation valve portfolio.
• Collaborate with proposal and engineering teams to support quotations and project opportunities.
• Coordinate and deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, training sessions, and promotional events.
• Implement regional sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting, and customer information within CRM systems.
• Monitor market developments, industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities.

• Qualification in engineering, science, business, a trade discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in a sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing commercial role.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of business drivers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently across a territory.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Commitment to safe work practices and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Willingness to travel within Gladstone and the broader Queensland region as required.

• Experience within mining, resources, process industries, water, power, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of valves, flow control equipment, industrial automation, or related engineered products.
• Experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, project delivery, or technical support teams.
• Understanding of customer maintenance, reliability, and operational improvement requirements.
