What You Will Do
- Contribute to defining, developing, and continuously evolving cloud architecture, including design, deployment, security, and operations.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code automation using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to support production application deployments.
- Partner with Cybersecurity teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures that meet industry compliance requirements.
- Define, promote, and apply cloud optimization best practices to improve reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Lead impact assessments and support decision-making related to technology choices, architectural design, and implementation strategy.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, working collaboratively with development and operations teams to support production systems.
What You Bring to PTC
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience supporting cloud-based production environments.
Working knowledge of building or applying AI agents to improve DevOps, CloudOps, automation, or operational efficiency.
Strong experience designing, building, and operating systems in AWS cloud environments.
2+ years of hands-on experience developing cloud automation using Terraform and Ansible.
2+ years of production experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS.
Strong experience working with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, networking fundamentals, and cloud connectivity concepts.
Experience designing or supporting high-availability and fault-tolerant architectures.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, and Datadog.
Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
