As our new Technology Trainer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and delivering high-quality technology training that enables employees to effectively use V/Line workplace systems and applications. You’ll coordinate and deliver training for new and existing users, maintain training records, and develop engaging learning resources, including self-service and digital learning solutions.
Working closely with Business Information Systems (BIS), business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external providers, the successful candidate will ensure technology training is delivered effectively and aligns with business needs. You’ll monitor system usage and performance trends to identify capability gaps, support learning platforms and knowledge repositories, and contribute to ongoing staff communications. The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in technology training, digital learning content development, and driving user adoption of workplace technology.
This role forms part of V/Line's newly established Technology Partnering & Enablement team within Business Information Systems (BIS). The team is focused on building technology capability, driving user adoption, and strengthening engagement between the business and IT to maximise the value of workplace technology investments.
3 days in office, 2 days remote per week (central Melbourne CBD location)

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following key selection criteria within their application, as this forms part of our merit-based recruitment process:
Must have 5+ years’ experience successfully designing and delivering technology training, digital learning content and user adoption initiatives across the digital workplace.
Established experience successfully developing training materials and learning solutions across integrated enterprise application environments.
Demonstrated experience engaging with various types of stakeholders of all levels of seniority, both internally and externally.
Experience supporting training and user adoption activities for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or similar ERP platforms (highly desirable)
A degree in information systems, Cert IV in Training and Assessment or related discipline or appropriate vocational or tertiary education (highly desirable)
Experience with Microsoft 365, enterprise applications and digital learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise or similar platforms (highly desirable)
Salary for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned skills and experience to the position.
