Roles And Responsibilities

  • Ideate, research, and create high quality content (written, video, and/or social media) focused on technology, products, and industry trends.
  • Simplify complex technical topics into clear, engaging, and audience friendly content for both technical and non technical readers.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to gather accurate information and translate it into compelling narratives.
  • Plan and manage a content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely publishing across platforms (blog, social media, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Write blog posts, articles, product explainers, scripts, newsletters, and social media copy tailored to different audiences and channels.
  • Stay updated on emerging tech trends, tools, and competitor content to keep the brand's voice relevant and current.
  • Optimize content for SEO and audience engagement, using data and analytics to refine content strategy.
  • Work with design and video teams (or independently) to produce supporting visuals, graphics, or short form videos when needed.
  • Repurpose long form content into short form snippets for platforms like Instagram, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor content performance metrics and iterate based on audience feedback and engagement data.
  • Maintain brand tone, voice, and messaging consistency across all content touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with external contributors, freelancers, or agencies when required.

Qualifications

  • 2 5 years of experience creating content specifically within the technology or SaaS space (e.g., gadgets, software, AI, startups, developer tools, etc.).
  • Proven portfolio of published tech related content (blogs, articles, videos, or social media campaigns).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify technical jargon for varied audiences.
  • Familiarity with content platforms and tools such as WordPress, Notion, Canva, or basic video editing software.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices and content performance analytics (Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar).
  • Understanding of social media trends and platform specific content formats (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional and remote teams.
  • Self motivated with strong time management skills, capable of working independently in a remote setup.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
