Responsibilities
- Attend to instrument and control equipment breakdowns and planned maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument and control failures
- Complete maintenance work in accordance with safety procedures and plant requirements
- Order spare parts and maintain records using SAP
- Monitor repeated breakdowns and recommend modifications
- Provide guidance to newly joined instrument mechanics
- Participate in business excellence activities like 5S, Kaizen, etc.
Requirements
- Experience in instrument and control equipment maintenance
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot failures
- Knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS
- Adherence to safety procedures

Responsibilities
- Attends to all instrument & control equipment breakdowns and planned/preventive/predictive maintenance work with minimum direction & supervision.
- Technically assesses the requirements of allocated jobs and selects the necessary tools and equipment.
- Effectively diagnoses instrument & control breakdowns/failures and troubleshoots failures of plant and equipment.
- Completes all maintenance work in accordance to safety procedures, maintenance plans and plant operational requirements.
- Using SAP, orders necessary spare parts and maintains records of all maintenance work completed.
- Monitors any repeated breakdown and recommends proper modification to resolve the problem.
- Provides guidance to newly joined instrument mechanics.
- Works towards improving EHS and Plant & Equipment Performance by participating in Business Excellence activities.
- Performs other related duties as communicated by supervisor/technician.
