- Attend to instrument and control equipment breakdowns and perform planned/preventive/predictive maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument and control failures
- Complete equipment calibrations as per schedule
- Order spare parts and maintain records using SAP
- Monitor repeated breakdowns and recommend modifications
- Provide guidance to new instrument mechanics
Requirements
- Experience in instrument and control equipment maintenance
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot instrument failures
- Knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance plans
- Experience with computerized maintenance systems (e.g., SAP)

Key Responsibilities
- Attends to all instrument & control equipment breakdowns and planned/preventive/predictive maintenance work with minimum direction & supervision
- Technically assesses the requirements of allocated jobs and selects the necessary tool and equipment
- Effectively diagnoses instrument & control breakdowns/failures & troubleshoots failures of plant and equipment
- Completes all maintenance work in accordance with safety procedures, maintenance plans and plant operational requirements
- Achieves all equipment calibrations as per the schedule/business requirements
- Using SAP, orders necessary spare parts from warehouse and maintains records of all maintenance work completed
- Monitors repeated breakdowns and recommends proper modifications
- Provides guidance to newly joined instrument mechanics
