Role Overview
The Technical Support Engineer assists Customer Service Engineers with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging sophisticated optical and electromechanical equipment, computer systems, and software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and resolve escalated field issues by identifying root problems, coordinating resources, performing gap analysis, and developing plans of action.
- Escalate issues to engineering teams and lead multi-team technical discussions until consensus and resolution are achieved.
- Travel within the region and worldwide to support escalated issues on site, with estimated travel of 25% to 50%.
