Responsibilities
- Provide continued airworthiness and technical support across airframe systems, avionics, structures, interiors, engines, and components
- Review and action emergency Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), fleetwide inspections, and AOG events
- Monitor Engineering Daily Technical Status to assess maintenance operations, technical delays, deferred defects, and operational restrictions
- Evaluate and track aircraft defects using Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) and AMOS systems
- Interpret technical documentation including ADs, SBs, CSBs, and other regulatory or manufacturer publications
- Liaise with internal departments and OEMs to resolve engineering issues and ensure availability of approved data
- Provide technical input and assistance during investigations from Air Safety Reports (ASRs), Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs), etc.
- Assist in developing and maintaining processes, procedures, and documentation for continued technical operation and regulatory compliance

- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) in Engineering or ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (B2 or B1) or Engineering Apprenticeship
- Fluent in English

Main Objective of Role
- To ensure continued airworthiness and provide technical support to maintain the reliability, safety, and performance of the aircraft in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides continued airworthiness and technical support across airframe systems, avionics, structures, interiors, engines, and components to address operational engineering issues.
- Reviews and actions emergency Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), fleetwide inspections, and away from base Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events to ensure airworthiness compliance.
- Monitors the Engineering Daily Technical Status to assess maintenance operations, technical delays, deferred defects, and operational restrictions affecting the flydubai fleet.
- Evaluates and tracks aircraft defects using Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) and AMOS systems to ensure proper troubleshooting, rectification, and follow up on repetitive defects.
- Interprets technical documentation including ADs, SBs, Component Service Bulletins (CSBs), and other regulatory or manufacturer publications to determine required actions.
- Liaises with internal departments and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to resolve engineering issues and ensure the availability of approved data for aircraft release.
- Provides technical input and assistance during investigations arising from Air Safety Reports (ASRs), Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs), and similar events.
- Assists in developing and maintaining processes, procedures, and documentation that support the continued technical operation and regulatory compliance of the fleet.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Engineering or ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (B2 or B1) or Engineering Apprenticeship
