Lead technical activity from early planning and concept development through infrastructure implementation, system onboarding, and operational handover.
Coordinate customers, contractors, OEMs, and internal teams while keeping projects commercially and operationally on track.
Core delivery responsibilities
- Advise on charging technology, electrical and communications requirements, site concepts, depot planning, and grid upgrades.
- Review tenders, contractor designs, technical submissions, risks, gaps, and constructability issues.
- Onboard chargers and site equipment, validate integrations, coordinate end-to-end testing, and complete operational handover.
- Lead customer training, process change, adoption, and operational readiness for the new charge management system.
- Manage milestones, budgets, contract scope, resources, risks, progress, invoicing, and delivery timelines.
- Troubleshoot issues, coordinate vendors and OEMs, and provide Level 2 technical support.
Required experience
- Experience in EPC projects in EV charging or energy, including design development, tender evaluation, contractor design review, technical documentation, and commissioning.
- University degree in electrical, electronic, control systems, telecommunications, or a similar engineering discipline.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, communications and networking, software, and control-system disciplines.
- Experience using control systems or energy management systems for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing project milestones, budgets, contract scope, resources, risks, reporting, and operational handover.

- Own projects end to end and exercise sound technical and commercial judgment.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders and multiple vendors through integration and delivery.
- Build customer rapport, communicate clearly, manage expectations, and provide credible advice.
- Adapt to changing scope, customer requirements, and emerging technologies.
- Capture lessons learned and improve delivery and support processes.
Key requirements
- Essential skills include cross-disciplinary troubleshooting and EPC EV charging or energy project experience.
- A charge management, industrial control, or energy management system background is required for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Occasional urgent after-hours support may be needed.
Technical tasks
- Develop site concepts, cost estimates, technical documentation, inspection and test plans, commissioning documents, and handover packages.
- Commission meters, local controllers, networking equipment, Ethernet switches, industrial CPUs, and related equipment.
- Train and manage third-party installation and commissioning partners.
- Support bids and proposals with technical input, risk assessments, and delivery plans.
Tools and collaboration
- Work with Software, Product, Customer Success, customers, installers, maintenance providers, vendors, and OEMs.
- Tools include ClickUp, HubSpot, Linear, and Freshdesk.
Preferred experience
- Experience in the electric vehicle charging industry is preferred.
- Commercial and contract management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of local and regional electrical-system regulations is preferred.
